Drove back down to Driggs, Idaho via Bozeman, West Yellowstone, Island Park and Ashton. Lazy afternoon followed by some relaxing fishing in and around Driggs in the following days, in between ensuring all went well for the rest of the group.

The road out there was in good nick but with a lot of loose gravel it wouldn't be hard to come to grief.

Driving to Sandy Creek Ponds for a short Watermaster session. The landscape is markedly different in this part of Idaho with an odd mix of sand dunes and mountains towering over the desert like landscape.

The ponds weren't big and the water was warm; but still we managed probably close to 80 rainbows between .5-2lb on sink tips and baitfish patterns.

A huge hatch of dragon and damsel fly was in progress but the water was too warm to get the fish up and chasing them on the surface

Slow pools with a strong bubble line on the outside bend produced the better fish. Cinnamon ants worked as well as anything.

Yet another Teton cuttie in the net. While we don't count fish, it was nothing to snare ten fish from the one riffle. All on dry flies.
