SATURDAY 7th SEPTEMBER
We are running a day of free fly casting workshops on Saturday 7th September to herald the the opening of the new trout fishing season.
Join us at our base of operations in Alexandra between the hours of 10am – 4pm for a day of free sessions including:
- Fly Selection
Free tea/coffee/biscuits and bottled water will be provided, and the B.B.Q. will be going all day.
We have chosen this date as many of you will be eager to get back out on the rivers, and what better way to be get started than with a quick refresher course on casting, and some assistance with anything fly fishing related.
This is also the perfect opportunity to meet with our well-traveled and experienced guide team to discuss the season ahead. We will be able to assist you in making plans for your future trips in Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania and New Zealand based on all the relevant information; including what we’ve heard from friends and colleagues in all of these locations.
Local hand-tied flies suitable for the Goulburn River and surrounds will be available for purchase on the day, and there will be a chance to bring your own rod to try numerous styles of fly lines on it. A great way to see what balances with your particular rod and suits your casting style.
If you wish to attend this day, please fill in the form below. Details of the precise location in Alexandra will will be sent out in the third week of August once we have confirmed final numbers for the day.
Thanks, and hope to see you there on trout opening.
