Our small premises in Alexandra is now open by appointment to visiting fly fishers.

Situated on the outskirts of town, with stunning views of the surrounding hills, we have created a welcoming space for fly fishers to relax and catch up on the fishing in the area.

Our small flyshop is the only place to visit for up-to-the-minute fishing reports and the best local fly patterns.

We have a small but perfect selection of local, hand-tied flies for sale, along with the basics in terminal tackle, with floatant, leaders, tippet, some fly lines and thigh waders available for purchase. We are not a full retail flyshop, however,  we do have essential items in stock. We carry only the very best in local hand-tied flies, many of which were designed and refined by our staff over many decades of fishing the Goulburn River and its tributaries.

We also have waders and fly rod/reel combos available for borrowing, for a small fee, should you forget yours at home or you break your rod on the river.

A huge, old map adorns the wall to assist us in providing you detailed directions to the best access points. Being on the water every day, we can ensure that you have the most current information to maximise your precious fishing time.

If you’d like to stay and relax for a while, we also have a television where you can watch some of the very best in fly fishing films from around the globe. Additionally, you can browse an extensive library of books covering all facets of fly fishing. You are welcome to bring your lunch along and eat in a comfortable space out of the weather.

Tea, coffee and cold drinking water are provided complementary for all visitors to our establishment.

Please phone us on 03 5773 2513 if you’d like to stop by and we will provide you with our address.

We look forward to seeing you on your next visit to the area.

Anthony and the team.
