Where to Find Us

Goulburn Valley Fly Fishing Centre is based in the Goulburn Valley, with guided fishing, drift boat trips and fly-fishing instruction centred on Alexandra, Thornton and the surrounding rivers.

Our Alexandra shop closed in November 2025, and we no longer operate a walk-in retail store. Our guiding, lessons, workshops and hosted overseas trips continue, with arrangements made directly when you book.

Meeting Us for a Trip, Lesson or Workshop

We’ll confirm your meeting point and start time before your visit.

Depending on your booking and the river conditions, we may meet in Alexandra or Thornton, or directly at the water. This lets us organise the day around the activity and where we’ll be fishing.

Please follow the meeting instructions supplied for your booking. If you’re unsure about anything, call or text us before leaving home.

Equipment and Flies

We continue to supply flies, beginner rod-and-reel outfits and selected equipment associated with our guiding and teaching.

If you need equipment for a guided day, lesson or workshop, let us know beforehand and we’ll confirm what we can supply.

For other equipment enquiries, simply call or text us to discuss what you’re looking for.
