Call, text or email
Texting is often the easiest way to reach me while I’m guiding. If I don’t answer straight away, leave a message and I’ll get back to you when I’m off the river.
For international trips, detailed questions or anything involving several dates or people, email is often easier because we can keep all the information together.
Telephone enquiries are welcome between 8 am and 10 pm, seven days a week.

Making an enquiry
A few details help
You don’t need to know exactly which service you want before contacting us. A little information is enough to get started.
For local fishing
Tell us your preferred date, whether there are one or two anglers, your level of experience and whether you are interested in bank fishing, a drift boat or tuition.
For workshops
Let us know which workshop weekend suits you and how many people are coming. Complete beginners are welcome and equipment is supplied.
For overseas trips
Tell us where you are considering travelling, whether you are alone or with a companion, the dates that may suit and what kind of fishing you enjoy.
Meeting us
There is no longer a walk-in shop
Our Alexandra shop closed in November 2025. Guiding, lessons, workshops and hosted trips all continue, but meetings are now arranged specifically for each booking.
Depending on the activity and river conditions, we may meet in Alexandra, Thornton or directly at the water. Your meeting point and start time will be confirmed before your visit.
Please follow the meeting instructions supplied with your booking rather than travelling to an old shop address.
