COMMISSIONS ON ALL SERVICES
GV Fly Fishing offer direct commissions (on a per booking basis) for all of our services. Those of you in the retail fishing trade may find this a nice way to earn a few extra dollars throughout the year, for merely displaying our promotional literature and directing people to book with us. An opportunity to develop additional revenue streams, for virtually no outlay of time/effort.

COMMISSIONS – HOW THEY WORK
- You make the referral and either phone us on the customer’s behalf, or they phone us directly and let us know that you referred them to us.
- Once the booking is confirmed via payment of a deposit, we immediately phone you to let you know that someone booked on your recommendation and to explain when your commission will be paid.
- We pay you via E.F.T. at the appropriate time based on the service (see below) and send you an email when completed.
- We follow up with you no longer than 7 days after payment of your commission was made to ensure that it was received.
PAYMENT OF COMMISSIONS
We pay all commissions in full via E.F.T when two conditions have been met.
- The final balance has been paid by the client, and
- The non-refundable period for the particular trip has ended. With some trips this occurs at the time of booking, while for others, it will be upon completion of the trip.
For example –
- Beginner Workshops – payment of commission will occur within 72 hours of the time of booking
- Drift Boat Trips– payment of commission will occur within 72 hours of completion of the trip
- Montana Trips – payment of commission will occur within 72 hours of the beginning of the trip
- Streamcraft Lessons payment of commission will occur within 72 hours of completion of the trip
- New Zealand Trips payment of commission will occur within 72 hours of the beginning of the trip.
We have been guiding and teaching fly fishing for 30 years, and in that time we have taught and guided thousands of fly fishers; and also accrued many five-star testimonials on both Google Reviews and TripAdvisor.
Bottom line is that if your customers, colleagues or friends book with us, they will have a great trip and you’ll be the hero for suggesting our services. Further to that, we will reward you in the form of a direct commission.
To assist you to sell these trips, we can provide you with hard copy brochures, as well as advertising literature (A4 PDFs via email) that you can print in-house, so that you can to start selling trips right away!
We will also provide you with detailed pre-trip documentation for any bookings; including suggested gear lists (rods/reels/lines/waders/flies), so you can ensure that your customers are adequately equipped for their trip with us.
A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT OUR SERVICES
We offer the best Beginner Fly Fishing Workshop in Australia, and we teach over 500 new fly fishers every year. These weekend workshops are a no-brainer for anyone interested in trying out fly fishing without committing to the expense of 1:1 a guided session or spending thousands of dollars in gear. They are inexpensive at $490 per person for the two full days of instruction; with all gear provided.
Our workshops are run by experienced guides/instructors; each with decades of experience of teaching and guiding fly fishers of all levels. We can accommodate groups of 10 people every weekend, so start spreading the word and earning commissions for simply putting your customers into the best ‘learn to fly fish course’ in the country.
We pay a commission of $50 per person booked into these low-cost workshops.
We also offer Drift Boat fly fishing trips on the Goulburn River between Eildon and Molesworth. We’ve been running these trips on a daily basis for 30 years and we offer a safe experience for all fly fishers regardless of age or fitness level.
Participants experience not only a great day of fishing while drifting 15-25 kilometres of otherwise inaccessible river, but they’ll also see numerous species of native birds and platypus; not to mention some amazing scenery as well.
The most often heard feedback from our drift boat clients is that the fish caught were just a bonus; and everyone comes off the water feeling relaxed and content.
Drift boating with us is safe and amazing experience that your customers will thank you for suggesting.
We pay a commission of between $50-75 per trip depending on the length of drift booked e.g. half-day, full-day. We also have 2-4 boats available each day so group bookings are a great way to boost your commission.
